The loves, happiness and secrets of three Edwardian Nannies
Berkeley Square is a warm-hearted family drama set in turn-of-the-century London, where three young girls come together as nannies and grow to be friends. Matty is a tough East End girl who has worked her way up the domestic ladder of London society's finest families. Spirited Hannah flees to London with her child after falling disastrously in love with the eldest son of a grand Yorkshire family. Generous, yet naive, farm-girl Lydia becomes a nanny in a forward-thinking family light years from her own. Over the course of time, the three young nannies become enmeshed in each other's lives as they manage through the unpredictable twists and turns of love, happiness and secrets in the posh world of Berkeley Square.

We meet Matty, Hannah, and Lydia. Three young women who have come to London to become nannies in affluent homes in the Berkley Square area. Matty soon butts heads with the housekeeper. Hannah arrives in london with her baby, and Lydia replaces the aging Nanny Collins.

Hide And Seek
Hannah moves into the Hutchinson's home and battles her new charges, and the stern Head Nanny, Mrs. Simmons while she desperately misses her own baby. The Countess has taken a shine to Lydia, and insists she take the baby to the park by herself. Ned becomes the new footman, and Nanny has a birthday party.

Lydia saves the day with her cooking, and Nanny Collins doesn't like all the attention that Lydia seems to be recieving. Matty is attracted to Mrs. McClusky's son, but she finds him hard to understand. Hannah foils a kidnapping of her son by her paternal grandmother.

The three nannies go on a special picnic together, and Lydia gets lost in the woods. Victoria's mother dies and Hugh makes a sinister remark.

Hannah is worried about her baby's health when an epidemic of typhoid breaks out in London. Lydia's crush on Hugh creates friction between her and Nanny Collins.

One of Hannah's charges dies on Coranation Day. She replaces the child with her own baby. Hugh attempts to molest Lydia, but convinces her not to say a word to anyone. Matty and Ned are caught kissing by the police, and Matty discovers that Ned is wanted for
murder.

Matty and Lydia attend a shooting weekend at the Earl' estate. Matty can't stop thinking about Ned, and Tom shoots his father.Ned realises that he is in love with Matty.

Ned tries to rekindle his romance with Hannah, but Hannah is happy caring for her son. Hannah tells Matty that she is in love with William.

Lydia rescues a distraught Nanny Collins, and brings her home. The police find bodies of babies, and arrest Mrs. Bronowski for murder.

Jack clears Ned's name, but Ned must ship out with his the rest of his regiment. Mrs. Bronowski is found guilty and sentenced to death.
