In Loving Memory: Series 1

Set in 1929 Lancashire, this classic British comedy series depicts the amazing mishaps that occur in that unlikely bastion of mirth-a funeral parlor! After the local undertaker dies, his sensible widow Ivy (Dame Thora Hird, Last of the Summer Wine) decides to carry on with the business. Whether dealing with stray coffins, local busybodies, dishonest rivals or faulty hearses, Ivy always manages to cope, despite the best intentions of her naïve and clumsy nephew Billy (Christopher Beeny, Upstairs, Downstairs).
