Whom the Gods Would Destroy - When Oxford graduate Dean Greely is found dead near his run-down house-boat, detectives Lewis and Hathaway are thrown into a delicate murder case which implicates one of the University's most prominent figures - college Principal Sefton Linn.
But as Lewis and Hathaway soon discover, Linn was not always so respectable. As an undergraduate, he was a member of "The Sons of the Twice Born," a hedonistic group that aspired to the principals of Dionysus, and who once killed in an attempt to experience the ultimate drug: Adrenochrome, found in the human adrenal gland. Dean Greely was also a member. But just a Lewis is preparing to make an arrest, his prime suspect-Linn-is also murdered, forcing the team to consider that Greely was not killed to keep past secrets buried, but to fulfill someone's clever and intricately planned revenge fantasy. Now Lewis and Hathaway are in a race to discover the identity of the group's victim twenty years ago before the remaining Sons are killed.

Old School Ties - When bright young Jo Gilchrist is found murdered in a hotel room, detectives Lewis and Hathaway are drawn into a case driven by celebrity, scheming and dangerous sexual politics that brings Lewis face to face with his past.
The murdered girl is one of three ambitious Oxford students who have invited Nicky Turnbull, a convicted computer hacker turned best-selling celebrity author, to give a lecture at the University Student's Union. But when Turnbull is also killed, Lewis and Hathaway believe Gilchrist's death may have been a mistake. Turning their attention away from the machinations of a loose alliance of driven students, they begin to look at the numerous enemies Turnbull made-those he stole money from, those he stole information from, the fellow prisoners whose stories he stole in order to make his book a best seller, and perhaps even his wife-Lewis' old flame.

Expiation - When a North Oxford housewife, Rachel Mallory, is found hanged at home, it appears to be an open and shut case of suicide. But though she leaves devastated husband and two young daughters, she left no suicide note. Much to the chagrin of CSI Innocent, the missing note and victim's seemingly perfect life leads Lewis to suspect foul play.
Meanwhile, Lewis receives a request for a meeting from a dying, highly respected Oxford law professor who wants to make his peace with life. To this end, he strikes a deal with Lewis. If the detectives will track down a former student whom he gravely wronged years ago, the old man will provide insight into Rachel Mallory's death. With no other leads with the Mallory case, Lewis has little to lose in going along.
But when the professor's first tip leads to another murder disguised as suicide, Lewis and Hathaway find themselves racing to deliver on their end of the bargain, before more lives are lost.

And the Moonbeams Kiss the Sea - A body is found in the Bodleian Library and further intrigue arises when stolen books are found in the victim's home.

Music to Die For - Professor Cole is a respected German history professor. When he is found dead it emerges that he patronised an illegal boxing club. Could his death have been an underworld killing?

Life Born of Fire - The suicide of a young man in a church causes a stir in Oxford. When more murders take place Lewis tries to find out more about a church group called The Garden.

The Great and the Good - A rape case appears to be solved when the chief suspect is murdered. But nothing is what it seems, and soon Lewis and Hathaway find the upper echelons of Oxford society closing ranks.

Counter Culture Blues: Lewis is starstruck when he's sent out on a disturbing the peace call, only to come face to face with The Addiction, a rock and roll band from the ‘70s on its way to a comeback-thanks to the lead singer's (Joanna Lumley, Absolutely Fabulous) timely return from the dead.

The Dead of Winter: After wrapping up a gruesome case that leaves him shaken, Hathaway finds himself investigating a murder at Crevecoeur Estate, where he spent much of his childhood. Do his old playmates-including his first love- know more than they're letting on? And was the accidental shooting of Crevecoeur's Philip Coleman

Dark Matter: Andrew Crompton, Master of Gresham College and amateur astronomer, is found dead only days before Dr. Ella Ransome, Crompton's wife's best friend, is also murdered. Are the two crimes connected? Facing a list of suspects that includes everyone from Sir Arnold Raeburn (Robert Hardy, Harry Potter) right down to the head porter, Lewis uncovers infidelity, blackmail, and madness

Your Sudden Death Question: Lewis and Hathaway find themselves up against a slick quizmaster (Alan Davies, Jonathan Creek) when the standout competitor at a private quiz weekend is killed before the competition even begins. But is competition the motive, or is it just a convenient cover to settle old scores?

Falling Darkness: Dr. Hobson finds herself caught up in a decades-old vendetta when one of her university friends is murdered, and another young student is killed in the house Hobson and her friends shared years ago. Obviously unable to act as the pathologist in the case, Hobson instead finds herself and her remaining friends-Dr. Ellen Jacoby and playboy Alec Giles (Rupert Graves, Sherlock)-suspects, and Lewis is forced to subject her to questioning

Old Unhappy Far Off Things - Oxford's last surviving all-female college is bidding farewell to one of its most prominent professors, but not before Lewis and Hathaway are called in to investigate two murders that may be linked to the
college and its decade-old secrets.

Wild Justice - In the run-up to an election at Oxford's prestigious St. Gerard's Hall, the college is shocked by a string of brutal murders - someone seems to be picking off the candidates one-by-one.

The Mind Has Mountains - When a student dies during a controversial clinical trial for a new anti-depressant drug, is it murder or suicide?

The Gift of Promise - Lewis and Hathaway are called in when local businesswoman Andrea de Ritter is bludgeoned to death in an apparent blackmail plot gone wrong.
