Wish Me Luck: Series 1

During World War II, British special agents venture deep into Nazi-occupied France to bolster the Resistance for Allied victory. The new recruits are two civilian women-Liz Grainger (Kate Buffery, Trial & Retribution) and Matty Firman (Suzanna Hamilton, 1984)-sent by Colonel James "Cad" Cadogan (Julian Glover, The Young Victoria), along with fellow agent Colin Beale (Jeremy Northam, Gosford Park). Once inside, however, they find themselves battling with a movement more daring than they ever imagined. As seen on PBS.

Episode 1: Col. James Cadogen (Julian Glover) recruits two civilian women (Kate Buffery, Suzanna Hamilton) to the Resistance in Nazi-occupied France.

Episode 2: Cad (Julian Glover) sends Liz (Kate Buffery), Matty (Suzanna Hamilton) and Colin (Jeremy Northam) to France to bolster the Resistance

Episode 3: The Germans trace the transmitter when Matty (Suzanna Hamilton), unable to send at a designated time, remains on the air too long

Episode 4: Matty (Suzanna Hamilton) finds a new hideaway; Liz (Kate Buffery) convinces a childhood friend (Shelagh McLeod) to join the Resistance.

Episode 5: Claudine (Shelagh McLeod) discovers the Germans know Liz plans to return to London to relay vital information to Cad (Julian Glover).

Episode 6: Liz (Kate Buffery) returns to find family relationships strained; a German pressures Claudine (Shelagh McLeod) to turn double agent.

Episode 7: The Germans capture Matty (Suzanna Hamilton); Cad (Julian Glover) sends Liz (Kate Buffery) back to France to investigate.

Episode 8: Liz (Kate Buffery) forces Claudine (Shelagh McLeod) to cooperate while she and the others try to rescue Matty (Suzanna Hamilton).
