Whiling away the long hours between battles in World War I, ingenious soldiers and sailors fashioned used .30-caliber cartridge casings into remarkably efficient cigarette lighters. You may use this meticulously crafted reproduction to light candles as well, for fun and dramatic effect. Simply slide the outer sleeve to expose the wick and shield the flame.
